The Maples Summer 2017 Newsletter

Welcome to our Summer edition of The Maples newsletter!

We’re currently celebrating our 2nd Anniversary here at The Maples and how timely that we should receive another Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor!

So may we say a VERY BIG THANK YOU to those that have been kind enough to leave us a review.

Competition Time

Our latest purchase to grace the dining room is this beautiful ‘fillable’ lamp. Martin has suggested we use cornflakes to fill the base but we’re sure you’ll have some better ideas.

For the best suggestion we’re offering:
Complimentary Afternoon Tea For Two at The Maples.

Email your suggestions for ‘lamp fillers’ to enquiries@hythebedandbreakfast.co.uk

We’re in a bit of a jam at the moment…

…making excessive use of the preserving pan! Delicious Lymington Strawberries make the most wonderful jam, delicious on toast and even better with a cream tea.

There’s a whole host of exciting local attractions to visit and events taking place in the next few months. There’ll be fireworks at Beaulieu, the New Forest Walking Festival and Southampton Boat Show to name but a few. And if you feel like staying then give us a call on 023 8178 2640, email enquiries@hythebedandbreakfast.co.uk, or book through our website

See you soon!

The Bus is back!

New Forest Tour

The New Forest’s amazing open topped tour buses have returned. From 8th July until 10th September you can hop onboard the Green route bus in Hythe, just a couple of minutes walk from the Maples, and start exploring the local area from a birds-eye view. Additionally there are two other routes – the Red and the Blue – and you can switch routes, jump on or jump off as you arrive at local attractions. And you’ll also be able to use your ticket to take advantage of some great discounts at certain pubs, restaurants and attractions.
